Batteries Plus

Even when told I was entitled a replacement battery by batteries plus and optima (the manufacturer) batteries plus would not honour this and tried to charge me for a new battery... Absolutely shocking customer support. When first in for testing I was told I'd be contacted within 2 days, a week later still nothing. To actually get a reply from them I had to speak to the boss and make about 5-10 phone calls. Its as if they didn't want to sort the issue out at all and just thought it would go away if the didn't respond.......I urge you to never go here as they are not honest people

We have had excellent service and advice from staff at Batteries Plus. We purchased a Ritar 120a/h for our van prior to heading off for 5 months. This battery gave us excellent usage enabling us to stay off road most of the time using 120w solar panel. We easily ran CPAP Machine with humidifier, tv, fans and lights etc. . Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I ordered 2 x 12v 24ah batteries. They send me faulty batteries. Had to pay $70 to have it tested to proof they were faulty. I send them the details via Email. Jeff phoned back and was extremely rude to me. A refund will hopefully resolve the issue???? He is a disgrace when it comes to customer services, and I will never do business with them again!

I originally purchased an exide battery for my car and the warranty is 42 months. The battery did not last 12 months, I returned to batteries plus in Osborne park where Kate was willing to swap the battery over in return for a good google review, I was grateful and I obliged.The second battery lasted 11 months and again took my car to batteries plus where Kate informed me that it must be a problem with my car and I knew this wasn’t the case as it is untouched and in immaculate condition, not to mention I have 2 auto electricians in the family and both fault tested and it was the battery.replaced today with a century battery and upon removal of the exide the side of the 11 month old battery was extremely swollen I do have photos but unsure how to post them here.Avoid this company and never buy an exide battery.Any comment on this post by the owner of batteries plus in Osborne park should be ignored as they clearly do not care what they are selling.If you don’t believe me then google exide battery review!!!

Excellent Customer Service & Products bought an Exide Battery today. Fairly priced & talked me through warranty. Brought my 1 year old along for the experience and staff were friendly even handed her a healthy snack for the road!Thanks again Batteries Plus, will recommend to family and friends

Good old fashioned service. Rang up to discuss having my son's scooter battery being replaced. Being a woman I had no idea and Matt was so patient on the phone with me (thank you) and within 2 hours, Tom was out at my house, new scooter battery fitted and he even closed the cover and screwed the floormat in! So professional and so patient and so willing to help. Legends.

I called them at 9am this morning, 16/11/20, to get an obscure Optima deep cycle battery for my car. They said that they would have to order it and that it would would probably be in by lunch time tomorrow. They called me back at about 2:45pm and said that it had arrived and I went straight down and picked it up. They were $25 cheaper than anyone else in Perth on an internet search, this is the second battery I have purchased here because they were cheaper. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the service is excellent.Edit 4/2/22: The Optima battery mentioned above died a couple of weeks ago. This was a bit of a surprise as this was the 4th Optima battery I had had in this car, the other 3 lasted about 8 years each. My mechanics had thoroughly tested everything and it was definitely dead. It had a 4 year warranty so I returned it. Michael took it and did some tests on it. He verified that it was dead and sent it to Optima. They came back and said that it wasn't covered because it had gone too flat, so much for being a deep cycle battery! Michael was excellent. He suggested a similar specification Exide battery for half the price. It appears that Optima batteries are not what they used to be. It is a real test of a business when you ask for warranty cover and these guys passed with flying colours. I would upgrade them to 6☆s if I could.

To my personal experience, this is the best batteries retail business I got in term of their After Sale service (Exide Batteries). I do not know what other people's experience, but I will certainly buy from them again in future (when needing) and also tell friends and relatives if they need one.
